Confident Parents: Thriving kids - Anxiety is a free program helping BC families overcome anxiety challenges in children ages 3-12. This is a web and phone based coaching service that helps parents and caregivers learn effective skills and strategies for managing anxiety. It is available by referral from the school. Please contact one of our counsellor members for more information.
Discovery Youth and Family Substance Use Services is a free community-based counselling services for youth struggling with substance use. Discovery’s services are available to anyone in the community directly or indirectly impacted by substance use.
Including:
• Youth aged 13 to 19 who have concerns about alcohol or drug use
• Families/Caregivers who are concerned about a youth using alcohol or drugs
• Any support person who is worried about a youth’s use of alcohol or drugs
• Youth who are affected by someone else’s use of alcohol or drugs

Island Sexual health - A community health care centre, offering pro-choice and comprehensive sexual health clinics, education programs and products for people of all genders, orientations, abilities, and ages in Greater Victoria, BC
YES - Services offered by YES include: youth and family counselling, community outreach, after hours pager access, referrals, assessments, specialized interventions, a missing youth system, assistance with health issues, advocacy, meeting basic needs (shelter, food, clothing, hygiene etc.), emergency crisis response (including emergency/crisis shelter services), community development, life skills training, independent living support/transitional planning, consultation and assistance with issues related to addictions, mental health, employments, housing, education, etc.
Umbrella Society - Umbrella has been providing mental health and substance use supports to individuals, and their loved ones, since 2000. Their services include outreach, recovery housing, counselling, groups, harm reduction and education.
Anxiety Canada - Many resources, strategies and readings around understanding and navigating anxiety.
Kelty Mental Health- A comprehensive database on mental health, including ADHD, Anxiety, Managing Sleep, Managing Stress, OCD, Trauma, Substance Use, Grief and Loss, Bullying, Medications and many more topics. They are in partnership with Vancouver Children's Hospital.
